Page 1: Study Information
CUSU are using this online questionnaire to try to identify some students who would be willing to take part in a 1-hour interview about their experience as a Coventry University student, relating to the themes listed below. In order to make sure we are including students from a range of different groups we need to ask you for some personal information including gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and if you have any disabilities as well as for your contact details and information about your course. Please note that not all the students who complete this questionnaire will be invited to an interview.
Your participation in this questionnaire is entirely voluntary, and you can opt out at any stage by closing and exiting the browser.
Your data will be held securely in a password-protected computer file on Coventry University online systems and will only be used to identify students to invite to the interviews. All data will be deleted by the 31st July 2020. You are free to withdraw your questionnaire responses from the project data set at any time] until the data are destroyed. Please email the researcher if you’d like us to delete your data earlier than 31st July 2020.
The aim of the interviews is to understand the key areas of the student experience at Coventry University that may influence a student’s sense of belonging, as highlighted by current students. If you are invited to attend an interview this would last about 1 hour and will explore the themes listed below:
- Experience of the curriculum
- Experience of the University complaints structure
- Cultural experience
- Experience of racism
- Experience of Teaching and Learning
- Experience of support systems
If you are invited to attend an interview you will be free to decline to take part if you do not want to attend.
Please do not participate in this survey if you are under the age of 18 and/or you are not a current student of Coventry University, CU Coventry, Coventry University London, CU Scarborough or CU London.
