Page 1: Information for Participants

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role and contribution of women in research related to transport innovation and smart mobility. You have been invited to participate because you assist in, or conduct academic research in transport (or associated fields). We will ask you about some background details about your employment, and your experiences (or those of people you know) as a female researcher. We will also ask you, to provide details or links to papers on which you have been a co-author and tell us the gender make up of the authors. The survey should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary. Your answers will be treated confidentially. You are free to withdraw your responses from the data set at any time until the 7th of April 2020. To withdraw, contact Andree Woodcock, a.woodcock@coventry.ac.uk and provide your Participant Number issued at the end of the survey.

 This study has been reviewed and approved through Coventry University’s research ethics procedure. There are no significant risks associated with participation. All information will be anonymised. If you are unhappy with any aspect of this research, please first contact the lead researcher, Andree Woodcock, a.woodcock@coventry.ac.uk.
